Thabo Mbeki is lying: Kinyarwanda speaking Congolese have no nationality problem in Congo. They do have Congolese nationality. This question was settled by the sovereign national conference (1991-1992) and the Congolese constitution. This is why Congo has integrated several Tutsi rebels from the CNDP and RCD Goma into FARDC.
He also wants to mislead public opinion about the purpose of the war in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is to plunder natural resources for the benefit of the imperialist powers via rogue proxy states. Under these conditions, the problem is not Congolese-Congolese as he claims, but external aggression by neighbouring countries Rwanda and Uganda under the umbrella of M23.
Thabo Mbeki has also forgotten that the African Union has just classified the M23 as a terrorist organisation. The arms and munitions as well as the fighting units come from these 2 countries.
