Introduction et contexte

Les Accords de Washington pour la paix et la prospérité, signés en juin et décembre 2025 entre la République démocratique du Congo (RDC) et le Rwanda sous l'égide des États-Unis, représentent une tentative ambitieuse de mettre fin à l'un des conflits les plus durables et les plus meurtriers du continent africain. Ces accords engagent les deux parties à sécuriser la frontière commune, démanteler les groupes armés actifs dans l'est congolais et favoriser une intégration économique fondée notamment sur le commerce des minerais stratégiques.
